Nitin Adsul is a film Producer/Actor and IT Professional based in Washington DC area. Born in India, he grew up in 'Mumbai' and has lived in Australia and Singapore before moving to United States. Nitin completed his 'Bachelors in Computer Engineering' from 'University of Mumbai' and 'Masters in Computer Science' from 'University of Wollongong', Australia. Since childhood, Nitin had a keen interest in the film making process and arts. He enjoys working both on screen and behind the scenes while continues to work as an IT professional.

He worked as Software Engineer in Singapore with 'Elixir Technology' consulting company and then as a Java Analyst with 'United Overseas Bank' contributing in Object Oriented Design and Programming for banking application. His first achievement backstage was in Singapore, when he proposed the idea of forming The Indian Orchestra group for Marathi music. With like-minded friends, a group was formed, Marathi Association of Singapore in 1997. With a great support from MMS, Singapore, Nitin participated actively with the group during its first year. From gathering artists, musicians, singers, conducting practice sessions, to the final preparation of the event.


Nitin moved to the USA in 1999, and is now based in DC-Baltimore area. With his technical and analytical skills in Web-J2EE field he has contributed to companies like 'Qwest Communications', 'Verizon', and 'FannieMae'. He currently works with FINRA in J2EE Operations and Engineering services. While demonstrating his strong analytical and leadership skills in IT, he also been pursuing his passion of acting and filmmaking. He has been in independent features/shorts, Television shows/commercials and industrials in DC-Baltimore, New York area. While working in various projects, from low/zero budgets to medium/high level budgets, he observed the behind scene efforts carefully, with having ambitions to one day produce a project of his own.


In 2002, he was cast in leading role for independent feature film 'Far from India' and also took part in script suggestions and scene improvisations. “Far from India” was screened in two film festivals: 'Directors View' in Stamford, CT, and 'South Asian Film Festival' in Dallas, TX. Through his acting opportunities, he got a chance to watch and observe, big productions like 'Something the Lord Made' and 'The WIRE' by 'HBO' TV, 'Touchstone/Disney' pilot 'Twenty Questions' for 'ABC' TV, a 'MD/V' Lottery commercial by 'Eisner Communications' and 'As The World Turns' by 'CBS' TV.


In 2005 the dream of producing came true with the feature length film entitled 'Prayer Life'. Bringing all of his experience and knowledge to 'Prayer Life', he with his two partners, formed EastWest Films and began production on the film. 'Prayer Life' received worldwide Release in 2008 and has won the 'WYSIWYG Christian Film Festival' Jury Award and The 'Redemptive Film Festival Storyteller Award'.



On technology side, Nitin has an extensive background with multi tiered application development, distributed computing infrastructures, web applications, middleware, operations and engineering. He continues to practice his skills in IT organizations to increase scalability, reliability, and functionality, while controlling overall costs of products, tools and infrastructure operations.
